Leading up to the arts & craft festival season I’ll be answering the question we hear the most, “where would I put it?”

I love finding the perfect place for little unique works of art. If you have no idea where to put it, but you love it, trust me you will be able find the perfect place for it in your home. It will be the piece that sparks conversation. Joyful art in unexpected places.

I’ve been collecting local art for years! I love supporting small businesses and artists and I love how every piece has a story and a memory.

Side 1 original watercolor painting. We LOVE her whimsical dragons!

Side 2 Jennifer Melton original we bought at Zip 37 Gallery in Denver, Co on our honeymoon it is now closed unfortunately.

Slide 3 (froggy yogi) and Charles’s Vess signed print of artwork for the graphic novel, Stardust one of my favorite books of all time.

Side 4 framed Korean knotwork and wrapping paper from a wedding gift from Tim’s uncle.

Slide 5 (birch trees with cardinal) Kate gave me this painting as a thank you gift for reviewing her new book and providing feedback. Thank you Kate 😊 check out her lovely art and insightful books! The pottery pieces were not signed, but we got them at the West Michigan Potte’s Guild Fall Show. .magic.pottery (hanging pottery)

Slide 6 & 7 we bought the photograph in the NC OBX. It is the inside of an abalone shell, sooo cool! The owl is from a chainsaw carver in the TN smoky mountains.

We love the beach and love living this close to Lake Michigan. When I paint abstract paintings I start with a color palette then go to my happy place and get to work. I don’t set an intention to paint a place just a feeling.
These paintings will be for sale at the Art for the Parks popup sale this Saturday at hemlock crossing park. A portion of the sales will go to support Ottawa Co Parks, our happy places! 💗☀️🏖️

New Watercolor Painting of Tahquamenon Falls. Every year our family rents cabins in the UP on Manistee Lake and every year hike to Tahquamenon Falls. It’s such a beautiful place ands so special to our family. This beautiful painting will be available at pop up sale at Hemlock Crossing Park this Saturday. A portion of proceeds will benefit Ottawa Co Park.
