Let the creating begin! Today was opening day at the Nature Coast Art league for our 2026-2027 season, and we welcomed both returning and new members with a “Paint Around.” Five artists began a painting and passed it to the Artist next to them to paint every 10 minutes. Paint around Artists were - Ed Barker, Yolanda Barreto, Diane Becker, Ken Ruck, and Brandt Emerson. Members purchased tickets to win one of the 5 donated paintings by these Artists. A "Huge Thank You" to our Paint Around Artists! Also want to thank Joan Jagodowski Jags for our photo's, Carol Rose for donating art supplies and the funds to NCAL, Hedy Brandt for donating a beautiful carry bag to raffle, Rosann Ruck for timing the passing of paintings during the paint around, Mary Scarpelli for coordinating all of our programs, Mary Ellen Caesar for sharing information on our upcoming plein air event, Susan Wolding for our beautiful and informative newsletter and cordinating membership, and Treasurer, Suzanne Gentry for maintaining our finances and updating members on our financial status. Please let us know if we overlooked anyone who helped make our first meeting of the new season a very special day.
