🚧🎃 SHUTTLE ALERT, GHOULS AND GOBLINS! 🎃🚧
The participant shuttle is BACK for this year’s parade, generously provided by Bailey Coach! 🚍🧡
🚧 STREET CLOSURES BEGIN AT 4:15 PM:
East Street, Pine Avenue, and the streets along the shuttle route (marked in purple below) will close at 4:15 PM to allow the shuttle to run smoothly and keep parade-night traffic from turning into a horror story. 💀
📍 WHERE SHOULD PARTICIPANTS GO?
Participants should park or be dropped off at Glatfelter Gardens (the new park in the grassy field across from River Rock).
From there, participants can walk or take the shuttle to the drop-off location at the intersection of East Street and Railroad Street, closer to the staging area.
👨👩👧 PARENTS, LISTEN UP! 📣📣📣
YES, you CAN ride the shuttle with your little monsters if they’re participating in the parade! 🧟♂️ You can even ride it back to the parking area after dropping them off if you’d like.
BUT HERE’S WHERE THE TRICKS STOP. 🚫
❌ DO NOT try to drop your children off directly at Spring Grove Community Park, where participant staging takes place.
We already have a frightfully large amount of traffic squeezing into a very small space with floats, parade vehicles, and participants. Adding more vehicles trying to get in and out is a recipe for a Halloween nightmare! 👹
❌ There is NO PARADE PARKING at the staging area. That means no sneaking back there to drop off your kiddos AND claiming a prime parade-viewing parking spot. Nice try, though! 😂🎃
Please follow the designated parking and shuttle instructions so we can keep everyone safe, avoid traffic nightmares, and get this parade rolling on time!
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation. Let’s make this year’s parade SPOOKTACULAR in all the right ways! 🧡🖤🚀
