Railroad Memories Museum

Railroad Memories Museum Tour an original 1902 Omaha depot filled with authentic memorabilia rich in history of the Spooner area. P.O.

The Spooner Depot was once hailed as the "finest passenger depot between Duluth and Chicago on the Omaha Railroad". It had the largest roundhouse, a grand restaurant named "The Beanery", an express office and more. The depot is a non-profit venture that is run entirely by volunteers who either have a history of working on the rails or have a love for railroads and the Spooner area. Fund-raisers ar

e held throughout the summer and into the fall that supplement the expenses of keeping the museum open. In addition, the museum board just purchased a Soo Line caboose that will be restored to it's full glory in the coming months. Currently donations may be sent to
Railroad Memories Inc. Box 717
Spooner, WI 54801

Please specify whether you're donating to the general fund or for the Snowplow Restoration

We truly appreciate your interest and hope to see you at the museum.
