Sparking curiosity and igniting imagination of all ages through exploration and play, hands-on exhibits, and STEAM learning experiences. We offer field trips, educational workshops, outreach experiences, birthday parties, camps, classes, and afterhours adult events. Mobius Discovery Center provides a unique continuum of experiential learning that cultivates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities – foundational skills that create lifelong learners.

What an amazing summer filled with science, discovery, and fun!

Throughout the summer, Mobius had the opportunity to bring the GSK Be a Chemist! program to organizations such as West Central Community Center, YMCA of the Inland Northwest, If You Could Save Just One, Airway Heights Parks & Recreation, Girl Scouts Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho, and more!

Young learners participated in hands-on experiments to learn real-world applications of chemistry—from creating dyes and developing medicines to understanding forensic science!

These outreach experiences were made possible by GSK, in collaboration with The Franklin Institute. is a fun, free STEM program that aims to inspire the next generation of scientists!

Catch a mobile planetarium show today (8/20) at Mobius!

Tickets: $4 per member* $5 per nonmember

Showtimes: 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 3:15pm. Show duration: 25 - 30 minutes. Show topics will alternate every hour.

Where: Mobile planetarium will be set up in The Lab at Mobius.

Purchase tickets at the admissions desk, not available for purchase in advance. Daily admission or membership is required in addition to planetarium tickets.

Please note: Space is limited; first come, first served. Shows are subject to change or cancellation. Viewers will sit on the floor for the duration of the show. *Valid membership card must be presented to receive membership price.

We are excited to announce Washington Trust Bank is sponsoring another day of KIDS PLAY FREE at Mobius. Their generosity helps provide a welcoming place where children can explore, play, and simply be kids while our community navigates these challenging days.

Looking for a safe place to play indoors? This Wednesday and Thursday, KIDS PLAY FREE at Mobius Discovery Center!

To support families in our community affected by the wildfires, the Mobius Staff and Board of Directors are sponsoring free admission for all kids during these two days.

*Excludes field trip visits and planetarium tickets. Children must be accompanied by a person 16+ years old to visit Mobius. Children are not allowed on the exhibit floor without an adult and adults must be accompanied by a child. Offer valid 8/5/26-8/6/26. Young scientists get the chance to explore, experiment, and discover how chemistry shapes the world around them with the Be a Chemist! program.

Mobius is excited to bring GSK , developed by The Franklin Institute to some local organizations such as Airway Heights Parks & Recreation, Girl Scouts Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho, West Central Community Center, and more!
