Retired FireFighters enjoying the Fairwinds.

One of the most difficult moments in a firefighter’s career is deciding when it’s time to retire. Leaving behind the unique culture of the fire station can be a challenging transition — it’s an experience unlike any other and one that forges lifelong bonds.

Recently, a few of our retired members who now reside in a local retirement community received updated shirts as a small reminder that they are never forgotten. We continue to build upon the foundation they laid during their years of service, and their legacy remains an important part of who we are today.
