Please join us at Marmot on Friday 9/4 FIRST FRIDAY for the opening of a very special exhibition of new paintings by Gordon Wilson. Gordon has been an integral part of the Marmot family for many years, friend if Marshall’s and important artist and educator in this region!

Gordon will also donated 20% of all sales in Sept to Spokane Fire Relief.

It was wonderful to welcome new and old friends into the space last night for Jeff’s closing reception, joined by Kelsey & her out of this world ceramic, organic and earthy creations!
Thank you for coming over from Seattle to your hometown, your friend Marshall’s space and collaborating with so many new friends.

MARMOT ART SPACE
NEXT CHAPTER

Marmot is entering a new chapter. Following Marshall’s passing earlier this year, Kelly Baker and Chelsea Cordova—the owners behind the newly opened Front Room Art Gallery in downtown Spokane—are now stewarding this space.

In conjunction with Jim Frank and Kendall Yards, Marshall developed many special client and artist relationships during his ten years of operation. Gratitude goes to Gordon Wilson, a dear friend of Marshall as well as an artist represented by Marmot Art Space, and to Jose Trejo, a friend and advisor of Marshall's, for assisting with the transition and helping maintain the spirit Marshall cultivated.

Moving into the future, the ongoing vision is to honor the fine art and authentic energy that made Marmot special while continuing to grow opportunities for artists, Marmot supporters and friends and the Kendall Yards community.
