Another new print from a series of floral prints I have been working on.

We had lily of the valley at our home in Charleston, WV and I miss them so much. They always sprouted early in spring and they smelled absolutely wonderful. And they are such stunning flowers!

Between the prints and the cards, there were 52 pieces of paper and each of them had to be printed twice. Having the patience to wait for the colors dry before doing the second layer of detail is my least favorite part about printmaking 😅

The prep work that goes into getting ready to print is tedious. Taking stock of what needs to be printed, cutting paper to size, registering paper for multi-color prints. Tomorrow I’ll mix the colors needed for new prints, then I’ll start printing!
