Our Story

A unique small town shopping experience located directly across from the N.C. Transportation Museum in Spencer, North Carolina! Come and browse Mary Mae's line of pillows, handcrafted wreaths, local products, soaps & lotions, sweet items for your babies and children, Spencer and High Rock t-shirts, ladies purses and wallets, home decor, flags and garden decor, and so much more! At Mary Mae's ~ A Southern Mercantile there is a little something for everyone in the family....including your pet!

We have recently renovated a new space for small venue, non-alcoholic events rental. Occupies up to 100 people. Call or come by the store to ask for more information! The store is opened:
