The Historical Society of Lake Pleasant & Speculator is a non-profit organization who's goal is to teach our local community's history to the public and preserve it for future generations. We also provide and display the Town of Lake Pleasant's Museum. We ask of you to become a member of our society for the benefit of our community and it's future.

Our amazing volunteers have been super busy lately getting ready for the summer and America's 250th!
🇺🇸 The path to Colonel Peck's grave is in good condition and the site has been cleaned up and is ready for visitors. We will be hosting 2 tours this summer, the 1st on June 30th and the 2nd on August 11th. Both will start at the Lake Pleasant Public Library at 3 pm, and after a brief and informative presentation, attendees will be guided to the grave.
🇺🇸 We have also been working on our displays at the museum and getting everything ready for opening day. Starting Memorial Day Weekend, the museum will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm, and on Tuesdays (June & July) from 2 to 4 pm.
We can't wait to see you all!
