If you love the small villages of Spain, especially in the northern La Rioja region, you may enjoy some posters I created in late fall 2024.
$30 plus shipping and insurance. All posters are 2'x3' printed on archival paper with archival ink. I absolutely love Spain and my Spanish family.
The doors series took quite some time to gather. There are some 200-250 people in the village of Villoslada de Cameros. It is extremely hilly, and many of the streets are stairs. I took my walker with me, but the stairs proved to be a real challenge, so I switched to canes. I photographed well into the evening. Thank goodness, Villoslada is well lit. I walked everywhere to take the photos. Many of the homes maintain their ancient exterior but totally modernize their interiors. This village was built in the 1500s, and it was an honor to see most of the ancient doors and the new ones too. There is a Roman bridge that you cross over as you enter Villoslada. I often thought of the Roman soldiers who may have marched over it. I also have some pencil sketches that I did of a few things. If you are interested in purchasing any of the posters, just drop me a note on Facebook or email me at [email protected] (cell 1-775-424-2548 should you have questions or just want to reminisce. I am also on What's App.)
