We are currently hiring TWO short-term seasonal maintenance staff positions (ending 12/31/26) to help with trails and facilities upkeep.

40 hours per week, $15 per hour, start date ASAP

Update: Power restored

PSA: Power is currently out at the Visitor Center (including the Discovery Room). We will update when power is restored.

PSA: A prescribed burn will take place today at the location shown on the map. Please avoid the burn area and be aware of the potential for smoke within the park. If you'd like to hike and avoid the smoke, the Boyd and Paint Hill tracts are open and clear.

A note from the park superintendent to the Friends of Weymouth Woods Board.

WEWO Friends,
I just wanted to say how lucky we are, and how thankful I am, that you were able to fund Susan Campbell coming to the park and continuing her banding programs this year! This morning 61 visitors came out to witness Susan band 4 new hummingbirds providing valuable data to the monitoring program. They learned a lot, asked great questions, and shared stories and experiences. It was great to see her back in the park, and the number of people so happy to enjoy this rare opportunity. So again, I say thank you to the board, to all the members of Friends of Weymouth Woods, and all those individuals and businesses in the community who support Weymouth Woods!
