The Tallac Historic Site opens for operations on Friday, May 26! Come step back in time with us and enjoy a walk along the interpretative trails, the Tallac Museum or guided tour.

2023 Artist-in-Residence: We are excited to announce the return of the THS artist-in-residenc program! Check out our website for updated program offerings, and artist bios.

Leaves and snow are falling, and the gates to 1 Heritage Way have officially closed for the 2025 season.

Trails remain open throughout the winter, please take all trash back out with you! No services are available until May 2026.

Unfortunately, due to impacts from the government shutdown, the Tallac Museum has closed for the 2025 season effective today.

Grounds and trails remain accessible, however visitor amenities and services are very limited. Plan accordingly, and please please, recreate responsibly.

In addition, Tallac After Dark has been canceled for the foreseeable future, and ticket sales will be refunded 👻😭.

Despite this news, we managed to find a few bright spots to our day 🌈.
