Here's a picture of the decal that will soon be mounted on the wall by the mural by Mark Massie commemorating it as a part of the America 250 celebrations!!

Remember the G W Luckey mural that Mark Massie, of Massie Signs & Art, restored last summer? He has added it to the Murals Across Ohio Map as a part of the America 250 celebrations. He will be placing a decal near the mural in the near future.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend, and Trustee, Kay Ruley.

Kay served as a proud and dedicated Trustee for many years. She kept careful watch over our beloved Train Depot, Log Cabin, and Opera House to ensure they were preserved for others to enjoy. Kay was instrumental in the success of the silent auction at the South Charleston Heritage Days Festival.

While our Commission has lost an incredible advocate what we’ll miss most is her warm personality, her contagious smile, and her spirit of community and service.

Please join us in lifting her family and all her knew her in your thoughts. We know Kay will continue to inspire those who follow in her footsteps.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Kay’s honor and condolences may be expressed to her family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com

The Heritage Commission will hold its annual meeting, followed immediately by its regular February meeting, at 2 pm on Sunday, February 15, at 2 pm in the Community Room of the Town Hall.

Guests and volunteers are welcomed and appreciated!
