Somerville Art Gallery Announces Call to Artists for 2026 Fayette County Artists Fall Exhibition

Somerville, TN — The Somerville Art Gallery is pleased to announce its Call to Artists for the 2026 Fayette County Artists Fall Exhibition, inviting local artists from across Fayette County to showcase their creativity and talent in this highly anticipated seasonal exhibit.

The Fall Exhibition celebrates the rich artistic spirit of Fayette County and welcomes submissions from artists working in all mediums and styles. The gallery is open to a wide range of artistic expressions, including fiber art, oil painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and more.

“This exhibition is an opportunity to highlight the incredible talent that exists right here in our community,” said gallery representatives. “We want to create a space where local artists can be seen, celebrated, and connected with the public.”

The exhibition will run from September 3, 2026, through September 26, 2026, at the Somerville Art Gallery, located in the heart of downtown Somerville.

Today, Mayor Taylor officially proclaimed April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, reminding us all of the importance of protecting the most vulnerable in our community.

This morning at 9:00 AM at the Justice Complex, the proclamation was made to raise awareness and encourage prevention efforts throughout the month.

Let this serve as a call to action—together, we can make a difference by supporting families, recognizing the signs, and speaking up for those who cannot. 💙
