Each year, Mountain Craft Days is fortunate to host a number of new artisans that preserve the rural heritage of Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Among this year's new demonstrators are John and Christine Milleker, who specialize in wet plate collodion photography. With more than 20 years of experience, John and Christine will demonstrate how portraits were taken before modern photography.

From one-of-a-kind portraits to other forms of traditional artistry, Mountain Craft Days features something for everybody. Join us September 11, 12, and 13 and take home a keepsake shaped by centuries of craftsmanship.

Tonight's 25/250 First Friday was a success! Even the rain could not dampen the spirits of our dedicated guests.

We would like to extend a warm thank you to John Larimer for opening the set, and to Hickory Bottom band for musical entertainment throughout the evening. We would also like to thank Phantom Entertainment, Flood City Rentals, and Living Treasures for their assistance with the family friendly activities. And, of course, we could not do it without the devoted volunteers and guests who make these events such a success. Thank you everyone for such a great night!
