Do you know someone who LOVES Dinosaurs? This is the perfect place for them to get an intro into the world of Dinosaurs & Paleontology.
The Museum on the Peninsula is hosting Dino Camps here on the Kenai Peninsula this summer, 2026 - and they are filling up FAST!
Featuring Soldotna's own Ree'Lynn Lisenby, a graduate from Montana State University with a degree in Paleontology. Ree'Lynn grew up right here in Alaska and is dedicated to teaching others about the amazing field of Dino Hunting and Geology.
Here's the dates and times of all our Dino Camp sessions for the year of 2026! They will be hosted by the Museum on the Peninsula located in the Peninsula Center Mall! Kids ages 8 and up are welcome to join us!
This is a week-long camp (Mon-Fri from 8am to 4pm) that will take an in depth look at what Paleontology and Fossil Hunting is all about.
We only have 5 classes available, and each class will be limited to 5 students MAX. This camp will be registered with Connections & IDEA homeschools as well. Cost of the program will be $650.

Scheduled to open in 2027, the Museum on the Peninsula will be a place of education to those of all ages. Located on the Kenai Peninsula the "MOP" will bring a unique perspective on Paleontology, Geology, Renewable Resources, and Natural History.
