We had the pleasure of welcoming a group from today! 🏍️✨

Last weekend, a couple of their riders stopped by to ask if it would be okay for the group to take a break here on their annual ride and we were thrilled to say yes! Today, they rolled in, and it was such a cool moment to be part of their meaningful mission. This group raises money to buy winter coats for kids and hands out teddy bears to bring comfort and joy to youth in need. 💛🧸

It was an honor to have them stop at The Henry Store, and we truly hope they make us part of their route every year!

Come on out to The Henry Store and enjoy a little slice of old-time country charm. We’ve got local jerky, handmade goods, crafts, and stories that stretch back generations.

This sweet article was shared with us by our sheep friend Judy. It’s pictured here alongside John Henry Schmidt, an old Coors calendar, and our classic cash register. It’s a moment frozen in time and we love it.

We’re also excited to share that the Henry School has made its way to our property. Jerry Stoor reached out last year about placing it here, and we’re so glad to have it settled beside the store. He worked hard to bring it back to life as a schoolhouse again, and we’re proud to have it standing here as part of our little space.

Found a delightful rock on the steps of our museum/store with an inspiring message of “Live Joyfully”. My daughter is thrilled to rehide the rock and carry on the message. 🙂

Throwing it way back to 1955 with this gem of a photo 📸 featuring Marion Lindhart, Joyce Lindhart Cook, and Carol Lindhart Trujillo! Our beloved historical general store sure has some interesting history! 🕰️ Back in the day, while serving as a bustling post office in the ‘30s to the ‘50s, it also doubled as your go-to spot for cold brews 🍺 – talk about multitasking! 🏛️ The sight of the post office sign and the beer sign on the building together is just priceless. Guess they believed in delivering letters and refreshing beverages simultaneously! 📮🍻 Cheers to the quirks of history! 🎉
