As part of Snow Hill’s monthly “First Friday” event on September 4, I will be doing a book reading and signing at Bishop’s Stock Fine Art, Craft & Wine. Along with me, my illustrator Olga Deshields will be displaying and marketing the original artwork from my book “Pumpernickel Goes There.” Fun for the whole family, please join us at 202 W. This is the start of a wonderful week of music! Although the performance at Bishop’s Stock is sold out, there are 4 more days to follow the music in Berlin and Snow Hill. Friday’s 7pm concert at All Hallows is just one reason why hearing world class musicians in community settings is something to experience. Not sure about chamber music? Any one of these performances will show how enjoyable classical music is when a small group of musicians create their magic in simple, often unexpected settings. Chamber music hits all senses!

The Flower Shop in Snow Hill created a great complement to Keith Whitelock's watercolors! Lots of interest in his miniature paintings - places many recognize. Nice evening.
