A little bit about the Sleepy Eye Museum! If you haven't heard it is absolutely FREE to come and check out all the history that has been dedicated to this building and community! We have several different areas designated specifically for Military, Sports, Chief Sleepy Eye, Sleepy Eye Historical Businesses, our most famous Drum and Bugle Core area and a Homestead Room featuring everything back in time of clothing, spinning, butter churning and cooking. Take the opportunity to come on out and see how different it is inside the Museum. Updates and new displays featured this year make it exciting to have a fresh look at new things! Hope to see you soon! The Sleepy Eye Museum hours are Thursday and Friday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. please like and share our page, follow us!

Here we are,The Sleepy Eye Museum in the Summerfest parade today! What a great weekend with beautiful weather for our hometown yearly festival! This was a really great event to have at the Sleepy Eye Museum! We were able to have Mr and Mrs Peterson along with their granddaughter Jesse come in and demonstrate their passions at our event Arts of the Past! What wonderful craftsmanship from a man that was also a teacher showing the gift of woodworking to others! His wife and granddaughter also being a teachers taught today spinning and weaving! Not only did she show her artistry but also allowed visitors to experience it too! Watch for more events coming to the Sleepy Eye Museum! Please like and follow our page!
