Thank you to the incredible firefighters, first responders, and everyone in our community for coming together to support one another over this last seven days. Your courage, kindness, and resilience remind us what makes Sisters so special.

We are optimistic the crews working on the Akawa fire will continue to make forward progress and residents will be back in their homes as evacuation levels are downgraded. It makes us extremely grateful for all those who stopped by the gallery this past weekend to check in, say hello, offer words of encouragement, and make a small purchase to support the work of the artists.

We are also happy to share that 4th Friday Artwalk is going to happen this Friday — from 4-7 July 31st. Join us as we celebrate Sisters and local artists, connect with neighbors and community, and enjoy the musical talents of the Da Chara Duo. (Check back for updates and featured artist alerts.)

We are especially grateful to open our doors today even with the fire near our small community. While the circumstances are sobering, we are encouraged by the heroic efforts, dedication, courage, and tireless work of the firefighters protecting our community.

Art has a way of bringing people together, offering moments of reflection, connection, and hope. And we are hopeful and thankful to welcome visitors today and share this space with all of you.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted by the fire, and we extend our deepest gratitude to the crews working around the clock to keep us safe. 💜💕

Hello Friends, Artists, the Amazing Sisters Community, and Visitors,
Due to the fire and several of our artists under threat and/or order of evacuation, the Gallery has closed for the remainder of today. We will reassess tomorrow and hope to open our doors.
