Sinton Museum

I've been asked by several locals in the past for a photo of Freddie's Restaurant. Didn't have one until very recently and am sharing it with you now. The museum has menus of the Chat n' Chew and The Steak House Restaurants, but not one of Freddie's. Would like one to add to the collection. Please share your memories of the restaurant.

Last reminder! Hope more of the SISD teachers can stop by the museum Friday & Saturday. Goody bags are going fast! Looking forward to meeting more teachers. The sidewalk in front of the museum has been cleared for the weekend. Repairs will continue on Monday.

Reminder!! Teachers, remember to come by museum to pick up a teacher goody bag during the next 3 days from 11:30 to 1:30. The museum is under improvements to the awning. The building may look closed, but I will be there during this window of time to greet you.

Sinton ISD teachers, I hope you find time while on lunch break during inservice week to stop by the museum. We have prepared goody bags for you with items you may find useful for the school year. Don't wait until the last day, as supplies are limited!

The museum was recently messaged by Tim, a 1975 graduate of Sinton High School. He was inquiring if any Sinton resident had a recording of the 1976 Bicentennial Pageant that was held at the football stadium. I am passing on his question.

This photo is faded, but it caught my attention because I love parades. I enjoyed being a part of the Sinton parades while in high school. I was a member of the Marching Pirate Band and was proud of donning that maroon uniform as I marched the parades. Let me hear from you, past band members!

Come see the opening of the time capsule on Saturday morning. What interesting items will be in it? After the opening of the capsule come by the museum for a visit. Each July 4th visitor wil
receive an American flag lapel pin.
