Cut Loose - Magic in the Mess: An Intuitive Painting Adventure
December 5th 10am-4pm
Instructor: Glenda Goodrich

What if you could forget about making “good art” and simply let yourself play?

In this freeing workshop, we’ll use paint, movement, color, and mark-making to respond intuitively to evocative verbal prompts. We’ll layer, experiment, and let the unexpected emerge—then cut our paintings into a treasure trove of colors, textures, shapes, and hidden worlds.

These painted fragments can become vignettes, cards, collages, journal covers, bookmarks, framed pieces, or anything else your imagination dreams up. During the class we will create a set of greeting cards from the artwork.

No painting experience is necessary. Come ready to make a mess, release perfection, and discover the magic in the unexpected. Let go. Make marks. Cut it up. See what emerges.
