This Fourth of July, Yankie Street celebrates the way it knows best: together.
The Silver City Museum's 42nd Annual Ice Cream Social is more than hot dogs and ice cream (though Food Basket has made sure there's plenty of both). It's a front porch for the whole town: a place where neighbors sit down next to neighbors, kids get their faces painted, and live music fills the courtyard all afternoon.
This year we're proud to share the block with The Seedboat Collective, one of Yankie Street's original third spaces; a place where art, music, and community have lived side by side for decades. That's the spirit of the Fourth we believe in: not just flags and fireworks, but the quieter work of showing up for each other and building the kind of community we actually want to live in.
Come be part of it.
