Our museum, the Fremont County History Center/Iowa's Championship Rodeo Museum contains exhibits focusing on the history of our Fremont County towns and the rodeo history. Use of our Genealogy Library by the public is welcome and we will assist you if you are not in the a

Donations and/or yearly memberships are always appreciated and needed as we are a nonprofit and struggle to keep the museum open to preserve our our history and provide genealogy services to the public. The Thompson Apparel Store operated on the South side of the Sidney Square from 1928-1963. The first photo also shows a close up view of Sidney’s movie theater which was located directly east of the clothing store. Nellie Thompson is standing in front of the store in the second photo.
