A quiet Sunday,we had 2 visitors.
One from the Town of Jackson doing research on school houses and the other visitor came from Cicero, NY to specifically view and photograph the siren in the museum collection .
For those wishing to dig in deeper check out his YouTube titled Warning Sirens of CNY.
Also look up Sterling Signal Code Siren for more information. It’s a very interesting topic stemming from the Civil Defense /Cold War era.

Several visitors yesterday. Local, Pat Niles, was calling the class to order in the one room school house. The visitors from West Virginia were on a covered bridge quest. We also had visitors from Rochester and Saratoga. We are open today, Monday, from 1:00-4:00. Come visit the museum and get your passport book stamped.

Our curator Paul and his wife set up the booth at the History Festival last weekend. We had lots of visitors interested in the museum and we are looking forward to seeing all of them in Shushan this summer.
