We wanted to share that Broadway Limited Imports, LLC has added a late Conrail era inspection car 9 to their offerings in HO. So now you can really match your layout’s era perfectly.

Preorders for these cars will help gauge interest in other Conrail office car models. We are very thankful to work with them on this project.

ANNOUNCEMENT #3!

Broadway Limited Imports is proud to expand upon our previously announced Conrail and CSX Theater Cars in HO scale.

These business cars now include four additional paint schemes. Three are prototypically inspired—GTW in Blue & White, KCS “Arthur E. Stilwell” in Southern Belle paint, and WSOR in Red & Gray—representing railroads that operated similar cars. The fourth captures a distinct late-period appearance of Conrail #9 (1997–1999) that came to light after the original announcement.

Whether displayed on a siding, running at the tail end of an executive special, or incorporated into a passenger consist, these cars add unmistakable presence and realism to any HO scale layout.

All eleven SKUs will deliver together in Spring 2027. The order deadline for the original SKUs (10172–10178) has been extended to August 27, 2026, to match the new additions.

A BIG thank you for Brian of Brian's Model Trains for putting together another fabulous Ride the Rails for Cancer! Another big thank you to our host railroad, Middletown & Hummelstown Railroad. We have been partnering with them for almost 20 years on events.

The Conrail Historical Society is proud to announce $15,000 towards the restoration of CR 21292 N-21.

1. We are very thankful to the NRHS for a 2026 Railway Heritage Grant of $5,000. We applied for this earlier in 2026 and have been notified as a recipient. We are very thankful to the Harrisburg and Perryville Chapters supporting our application with letters of recommendation. This is a very competitive process.

2. As part of the 2026 Railway Heritage Grant, an organization must match the $5,000 grant. We are thrilled to announce that CRHS member Greg Martin has stepped up with a $5,000 donation to the CRHS. This will allow the CRHS to not take anything out of pocket to meet the requirements of the grant. We are so appreciative of this most generous gift.

3. Conrail has once again donated $5,000 to the CRHS. We cannot thank Shared Assets enough for their continued partnership. They truly believe in the CRHS and keeping the Conrail Legacy alive.

That is $15,000 to help restore the 21292!! This will help us get the windows and frames needed on order. We have some flooring to replace inside the car as well. A number of odds and ends and then PAINT!!! And we are working at replacing 2 wheel sets.

If you would like to donate even $1, please do so. It all helps. Let's give Conrail a hell of a 50th birthday present and finish 21292 in 2026.
