Today we took receipt of the donation of the Anacostia Tower model board from Tom. It has been well taken care of over the years since the tower was taken out of service.

This is a great partner to our Virginia Tower model board in the Conrail Museum. We are hoping in the future to be able to display them together. Thank you Tom. We will take great care of it. We loved hearing your stories about both towers.

Last week all the window frames from CR 21292 were dropped off to be reconditioned and get new glass. A big step in the restoration of the N21.

Conrail 21165 all cleaned up! Still looks great after a good bath on Saturday. Sunday it was back to carrying passengers!

Washing the 21165! The restoration was finished in 2014 and the paint has held up very nicely over 12 years.  We hope it continues to last by giving it some love every now and then.

Many of you are aware of the tremendous damage that occurred recently to the Whitewater Valley Railroad. They will have their first cleanup work session this Saturday. Please assist them if you are able. We stand behind them in their efforts to get back to running trains which will take considerable time, money, and effort.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — FLOOD DAMAGE CLEANUP

The Whitewater Valley Railroad is looking for volunteers to help clean up flood damage at the South Connersville Railyard on Saturday, August 22nd.

📍 300 Southeastern Ave., Connersville, IN 47331
🕘 Meet at 9:00 AM

Projects may include:
- Mechanical equipment cleaning
- Cleaning buildings, coaches, and cabooses
- Debris pickup
- Automotive work
- Possibly track work

Volunteers should bring PPE (masks, eye protection,gloves), and wading boots or work boots. We have plenty of cleaning supplies.

Please wear clothing you expect to get wet and muddy!

If you have specific skills or experience that you think could be useful to us, please let us know.
