We are so excited for this linocut workshop with Emmakate | Frederick, MD !!!!

ā€œLearn the art of block printing during a weekly workshop. Open to beginners and printmakers of all levels. We will spend the workshop drawing a design, tracing and transferring to our block and carving. Once carved we will ink and print. Two hours is not a ton of time to complete a full print, so it is best to come with a drawing or design in mind or physically. If you need more time to carve and print you are more than welcome to come back a following week. Carved blocks and prints are yours to take home and print as you wish after the workshop.

Fees include the tools needed to carve and print, your linoblock and paper to print on.

We will be carving 4x6ā€ blocks of speedycarve rubber which can be printed with block printing ink and ink pads.

This workshop is open for ages 15+ but if you have a little one to bring I will have age appropriate materials for foam printing without sharp tools.ā€

This if your reminder that Julyā€™s CUT & PASTE CLUB is happening in two days!!! (7/22)

Our pal, has graciously been hosting this free gathering (and taking šŸ“· too) and we hope you all can come join the fun and make some new friends!

As always, we have magazines and some supplies but if you have a fave pair of scissors and your preferred glue, bring it with you!

Weā€™ve had a little time to catch our breath now that Art in Bloom 2026 is behind us and WOW, did this community show up! We are filled to the brim with gratitude!

Preview night was a packed house as artists, designers, and lover of the arts rubbed shoulders (literally) talked all things art and flowers, and enjoyed delicious lite fare from

Of course, this exhibit could not have happened on its own as we have many folks to thank! Of course, an event like this doesnā€™t happen on its own. Weā€™re incredibly grateful to our Art in Bloom partner, , and to the many volunteers who helped hang the show, w**d the faƧade, arrange the floral displays, and kept the refreshments flowing throughout the evening. Most of all, thank you to every artist, floral designer, and enthusiast who participated. We were blown away by all of the creativity and our 2nd Art in Bloom was so special because of all of you.
