Earlier this week, the Greater Shenandoah Historical Museum had the honor of hosting the Southwest Iowa Museums Quarterly Gathering!

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who traveled from across Southwest Iowa to join us. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with fellow museums, exchange ideas, share our experiences, and continue working together to preserve and celebrate our region's rich history.

Thank you for making the trip, for the great conversations, and for helping make this quarter's gathering such a wonderful success. We appreciate each of you and look forward to seeing everyone again at the next meeting!

What a wonderful way to conclude our 250th Anniversary Lecture Series! 🇺🇸

Thank you to everyone who attended our final lecture and to those who supported the series throughout the past several weeks. Your enthusiasm for local and American history made each program a success, and we are grateful for your continued support of the Greater Shenandoah Historical Museum.

A special thank you to Allan Jordan for his fascinating presentation on the American Fur Trade. His knowledge and storytelling gave us a deeper appreciation for the people, cultures, and commerce that helped shape early America. 🦫📜

We'd also like to thank everyone who participated in our Pop-Up Farmers Market and the local vendors who helped make the day even more special. Supporting local history and local businesses is what community is all about. 🛍️❤️

Finally, thank you to all of our presenters, Dave and Roxanne McFarland, Ted Goudge, and Allan Jordan, for sharing their time and expertise with our community.
