Thanks to Yvette Feekes and whoever else came and finished the long ramp rails. We still need the shorter ones to Nelson School( Werner Lode) display….And those rails. Once finished, we can start priming and painting.
Neavea (sp) I don’t have your number to text you. Please contact me again. 712-899-1748
Weather permitting we can start painting the ramp. It has to be in temps lower than 90 degrees.

The rails on the ramp to the 1908 Sears Roebuck ramp are nearly completed. This nasty humidity caused trouble getting done yesterday.
Once those rails are done the rails between the ramp and the Nelson School need to be done
Some of you are going on your own when you can and scraping. We truly appreciate that. Progress!
Those of you have offered to scrape, thank you for doing this as you can. We are grateful.
I guess it’s time to but primer and paint. Hopefully next week it will be cooler.

Looking for people who would love to make a difference.

Prairie Arts Historical Park needs you!

We have been working on getting the rails to the ramp of the old Wansink, 1908 Sears Roebuck Home scraped. Then they need to be primed and painted. As well as the window casings and door. This can not be done in temps under 40 degrees or over 90 degrees. Thus the extreme peeling.

There is also a piece of siding that the wind has caught and is hanging in front of the Sears Roebuck Mail Order Catalog home.

It is at a height that would need some type of lift to fix this.

We want to continue to keep these buildings in good shape, and to last for years to come.

If you are willing, and want to help make a big difference, please call Karin at (712) 899-1748.

Thanks in advance.
