🎨 Back by popular demand!

SVA is offering another four-week Tonal Impressionist Oil Painting class with instructor Brian Stuart, beginning Tuesday, September 8.

Explore the fundamentals of tonal painting while creating beautiful still life compositions. Students may choose to paint from a live still life setup or work from a still life photograph.

What a wonderful evening celebrating Art in the Gardens! 🌿🎨

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday night for the opening reception of this special exhibition featuring artwork created during Plein Air: Art in the Gardens at The Christopher Farm and Gardens.

It was a beautiful evening of art, conversation, and community as artists and visitors came together to celebrate the many unique interpretations inspired by the gardens.

And congratulations to this year’s award recipients! 👏

🏆 Best of Show: Dannielle Arneson, “Serene Reflections,” needle felted wool

🥇 1st Place: Tracy Bezesky, “Christopher Gardens Silo,” oil and cold wax

🥈 2nd Place: Caleb Rutta, “Reflections Over Lilies,” oil

🥉 3rd Place: Thomas Ferguson, “Untitled CF&G,” photographic print
