Dear Supporters,
My name is Ed Beeler, Executive Director and I am writing on behalf of the Sharpsburgh Museum of History. Our organization was formed to manage Sharpsburg`s archival collection and teach the public about the people of the town of Sharpsburg and it`s community, from before, during and after the Battle of Antietam. Our history dates back to the Native American Deed of 1727 and the Garrison Springs Settlement.
At Sharpsburgh Museum of History, we are currently working on four major projects that would help with the much needed space for our museum home. To better exhibit our artifacts, so we can show local people and visitors our rich heritage and would be able to display and restore our Antietam Diorama.
Our end of the year fundraiser, our goal is $10,000, which will be used for new signage, archival supplies to properly store of artifacts restore our diorama and purchase some other display cases.
In order to make a difference, we rely on the support of generous individuals and businesses in our community. We would be most grateful if you would consider providing financial support to our organization. Your support is critical to the completion of our projects, and we would gladly keep you updated regarding our progress should you wish.
Please contact me at 301-800-6877 or [email protected], or P.O. Box 115
If you are able to support our efforts to make a difference in our community. Please send checks or use PayPal on our website Thank you so much for your kind consideration of our projects, and hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Ed Beeler – Executive Director / Town Archivist
Sharpsburgh Museum of History / Town of Sharpsburg
Please consider helping us meet our goal of $10,000.
