Jim and Margaret from Asheboro, North Carolina, visited us a couple of days ago. Instead of having a big 50th anniversary party, they decided to enjoy traveling Route 66 to California.

We had some special visitors today. Members of the Texas Plains Trail Region stopped by after a meeting in Shamrock. This organization connects travelers to 52 counties and 50,000 square miles of
sites and stories across the Texas Panhandle and Plains. It was such a pleasure to visit with everyone. Thank you so much for taking the time to tour our museum and for all that you do for the Texas Panhandle. Please come back and visit us again soon!

We're always happy when hometown visitors stop by. Thomas, Grant, Emma and Abel from Shamrock were out for a walk today, so I invited them in to cool off.
