Congratulations to Seneca’s dairy judging team! Way to go guys!

One of our favorite contests of the year is the River Ridge Dairy & Livestock Contest.
This year we took 3 Dairy teams and 2 Livestock teams.

HUGE congratulations to the Seneca Dairy Team 1 for placing 2nd out of 27 teams and the Livestock team being 11th out of 37 teams.

Way to go CARSON SIME on being the #1 top individual
and GRACE VARO for being #8 individual!!!!
Also a great big congrats to OWEN OPPRIECHT for being #10 individual out of 141 students!!!

The FFA Senior members that were members for 4 years (Tanner Kilburg, Nadia Klema, McKenzie Sime, Luke Boland, and the FFA instructor Brigid Loeffelholz) traveled to Chicago for an amazing site seeing experience. They went to the Museum of Science Industry, Shedd aquarium, Willis Tower, and the Chicago Bean. But unfortunately it was under construction so they had to see from a distance. But overall it was a wonderful trip!

I just wanna give a huge shout out to the Dairy and Forage Judging teams from the World Dairy Expo contests yesterday. The Dairy team placed 2nd out of 116 teams! Hayven Smethurst was 3rd Individually out of 343 kids, Brett O’Kane was 25th/343 and Carson Sime was 100/343 individuals!
Forage Team- Placed 23/48 teams Hunter Hagensick was 39/141 Individuals, Luke Boland was 49/141, and Drew Lenzendorf was 111/141 individuals.
Way to go Seneca FFA!

Seneca FFA has had a busy past few weeks!!

A couple weeks ago our FFA seniors took a trip to Chicago and got to visit the Willis Tower, Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry, and of course The Bean!

This week was National FFA week and despite the couple of snow days we got to do many activities including drive your tractor to school day, dress up days, and the annual FFA games!

Now we are looking forward to our Pancake Supper on March 7!
