Less to carry means more hands for playing! Guests are welcome to use our lockers free of charge while visiting the museum. Keys can be picked up at the front desk, and lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What happens during Annual Shutdown?

While the museum may be closed to visitors September 7–21, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes!

Our team uses these two weeks to deep clean exhibits, make repairs and touch-ups, tackle larger projects, and refresh areas throughout the museum that are much harder to work on while we’re open.

It’s a busy two weeks, but it helps us keep the museum looking its best for all the families who come to play, learn and explore!
