Washington’s oldest history organization
- Meeting since 1871
- Incorporated in 1895. Washington Pioneer Hall was built in 1910 on the shores of Lake Washington in Madison Park, Seattle on a lot donated by Judge John J. Miss Sarah Loretta Denny left a bequest of $20,000 in her will to construct the building. In 1970, Washington Pioneer Hall was officially placed by the United States National Park Services in its register of Historic Places. We are currently working to rehabilitate WA Pioneer Hall.
