**The Huhugam Ki: Museum will stop accepting mesquite pods on Friday July 31, 2026. We thank all that have brought them and will honor the appointments already made, till this Friday. We've gotten over 400 gallons of pods and invite everyone to our pancake breakfast and hammer milling in November 2026. We appreciate the help and if you still have pods, bring them to the November event and we will grind them into flour for you. Follow us for up to date event information.**

Watch our recap video of the 2026 Youth Tortilla Camp.
=================================
In June, the Huhugam Ki: Museum hosted a Youth Tortilla Camp for youth Ages 13-15. In this one-week camp, the youth learned the art of making tortillas from start to finish. On the final day the youth were given a certificate of completion of the camp along with tortilla starter kit that included a tray, mixing bowl and cheesecloth. Huhugam Ki: Museum staff cooked breakfast for the youth and their families and ate breakfast burritos before ending the camp. Thank you to all this year’s participants.
