🙌🏻 An amazing moment I’m incredibly grateful for.

Seeing my work and a piece of my story featured in a three-page spread in the Celebration of Art magazine feels pretty special.

So much of an artist’s life happens quietly in the studio: experimenting, questioning, layering, removing, beginning again. I don’t always know where the work will lead. I just simply keep showing up and trusting the process.

To see that journey reflected back in these pages is both humbling and deeply meaningful.

Thank you Celebration of Fine Art for the feature. I’m especially grateful to my collectors, designers, fellow artists and friends who continue to make room for my work.

An entirely new body of work is unfolding in my studio for this upcoming year’s show in January. Here’s to evolving, growing, experimenting, staying curious and creating work that gives us a reason to pause and really feel something.

48x48” on wood panel.

A little structure. A little shimmer. A lot to discover.

Structured and architectural from a distance, but full of unexpected details when you move closer.

Art doesn’t just fill a wall. It changes the way a room feels.

A little about me ➡️ Swipe.

Hi, I’m Beverley Wolter, a contemporary abstract artist living & creating in the Arizona desert.
Much of my inspiration comes from the contrast between the desert and the ocean.
One is grounded & quiet, the other constantly moving and changing. Both remind me to notice the beauty in imperfection, the passage of time & the marks that nature leaves behind.

My background in design & decorative finishes taught me to understand surfaces, color, materials & layers. Through painting I’ve learned to go deeper: to trust my intuition. To be curious. To push beyond what I already know & allow myself to be surprised.

My process is one of building & uncovering. I’m adding, removing, obscuring & revealing. I’ll continually introduce mixed materials & ways of working that challenge me to go deeper, both in the work & in myself.

For me, creating is about finding that quiet place where instinct takes over & the work begins to lead.
I’m creating in the space between movement & stillness.

In a world that rarely slows down, my work invites you to pause, look closer, stay a little longer & discover something that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.

Thank you for being here & following along on my journey. 🤍

Backyard Studio Update ✨A little curb appeal ✨

I spend so much time thinking about what happens inside the studio, it was finally time to give the outside a little love too.

Starting with a new concrete apron and slowly transforming this entrance into something that feels more intentional, welcoming and connected to the creative space inside.
Still a Work In progress, the studio has undergone quite the transformation from where it started as a 70’s brick garage.

Every commission begins with a connection
& evolves into something entirely its own.

This piece was inspired by an original,
but reimagined through deeper jewel tones,
subtle shifts, and layers to reflect their space, their light, their story.

No two are ever the same.
