Discover the history, folklore, and modern uses of lemon balm at the Scott County Heritage Center & Museum’s monthly Herb Class Series!

Join Caitlin Hall and Missy Calloway for an interactive evening exploring lemon balm’s traditional uses, practical applications, and fascinating history. Participants will also enjoy a hands-on herb-themed craft and delicious themed snack!

Thank you for coming to the Museum last week to hear about the Revolutionary Soldier buried here in Craig Cemetery, Shadrach Pierson presentation by Stephanie Kirby. All present were able to see and touch the blanket that he had at Valley Forge during the war.

Rev. Applegate, another of our Revolutionary Soldiers that lived here in Scott County and will be presented by Richard Burch on Wednesday, September 10th, 6 p.m. Call 812.752.1050 to make your paid reservation for the program. Deadline to reserve is Tuesday, September 9th before 4 p.m.
