A Western Kansas community short story!
Last Monday a barn owl got blown out of its nest at Monument Rocks. A group of women stopped by here and told me about it. I called Lake Scott and got the needed information from all the groups involved so hopefully the owl would get rescued. Anyway I’m not sure who retrieved it, but it now resides at Carrie’s Critter Rescue in Hill City. As of last Wednesday, it is doing well!

Last weekend we attended Fish-A-Palooza II in Volland, Kansas. Chuck provided musical entertainment and in this segment had help from some long time friends! Enjoy! Gary Staab (who just installed the bronze bison at the Smithsonian), Ray Troll (that fishy art guy) and Chuck!
