ROCK Museum of Scotland Neck Rock Museum is located Scotland Neck, NC. We are also an educational center with programs for schools and other groups!

It features a diverse collection of rocks, gems, fossils, and minerals from all parts of the United States and the world. MISSION STATEMENT:
"Creatively encourage education, promoting further understanding of the earth and related sciences"
PURPOSE:
"Inspire and provide enhanced learning, hands on, through classes, presentations, activities and events"

Wow, What a busy summer, with Outreach, Festivals, Classes & Tours. Also...
There are fabulous new additions to see at ROCK Museum & some wonderful new inventory coming into the gift shop. We are busy getting it all organized and in place. As a result, our monthly "Night Out at the Museum", "Life on the Farm" that was previously planned for Monday is getting postponed to October. The classroom is FULL of new stuff. September's "Night Out" is still on as planned "Minerals of the Bible". Come by Thursday thru Sunday for a visit & see what we are up to.

Despite the rain, we all had a blast at last nights "Lost in Space" at ROCK Museum! Unfortunately we did not get to BLAST OFF our rocket outside due to the bad weather, but had fun, played games & gave out oodles of prizes.

We had a great time visiting with everyone who attended our Business After Hours yesterday. Thanks to all who came out and joined us. We appreciate you!

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 23rd you will find us at the NC Fossil Festival in Aurora. Should be lots of fun. ROCK Museum will be in the STEAM tent.
