The Historical Museum has a box of approx 100 K-12 art pieces from the 1996 flood. We are asking if anyone wants some or all of these. Please reach out if interested. We are also open 6/28 from 11-4pm. These will be discarded at the end of the month otherwise.

A fun message from Sharon Farmer: My grandfather is the boy sitting on the ground in front, third from the left. He was born in 1897 so I am estimating the date of this photo as 1910. My mom told me the photo was taken at the schoolhouse in Shelburn. She was unable to identify anyone else in this photo. My grandfather was Delmer Marion Churchill. He is in the 1910 census in Shelburn on Stayton Road with his dad William, his mother Isabel Piatt Churchill, brother Claude, and grandmother Helen Churchill.

For those coming to help us May 3rd we have a list of things to do including painting (weather willing), light gardening, washing windows, moving interior displays and overall cleaning. The museum has most all of the tools and supplies. Hope to see you there!
