Save the DATE; 6/27/26.

We are looking forward to hosting our Annual Flea Market on Saturday June 27th from 9-1. We have vendors from Rock Springs, Little Snake River Valley, Craig, and other locations signed up to sell their wares.
Visit the Market and see what’s offered for sale, or come on over to enjoy refreshing drinks from one of our food/drink vendors.
The museum buildings and grounds will be open for the public to access free of charge, as is the Flea Market.

We have a nice collection of older cowboy and cowgirl gear on display in our Relic Building. This building is open to the public 7 days a week.
If you visit us in Savery you may want to take time to check out this exhibit.

Everything on display was either donated or is on loan. The efforts of many individuals built the museum into what it is today.

A gift shop and picnic space are available to visitors. The museum also provides event space for a variety of activities. If you are interested, contact the museum.

In our Dr. Noyes Room we have many items items that were once Dr. Noyes's, or used by other medical practitioners.
Many museum visitors find this room is our most interesting to look through.
One item on display is a giant bloodletting spring lancet or fleam. It has a brass body and a steel blade. (This particular fleam may have been used on livestock).
Medical Definition of fleam: a sharp lancet formerly used for bloodletting.
"THE SPRING LANCET
A much more elegant bloodletting method was used for humans. While fleams were sometimes used it was more common to use a spring loaded device in the 18th and 19th centuries. This is when the spring lancet was developed (though its origins go back earlier than this). The case is brass and the blade is steel. The blade was cocked by the hook at end and released with the button on the side".
