Wow, one year ago today I started Outlaw Mosaics, an offshoot of Michael’s Tile and Stone Installation. It’s been more of a passion and hobby than a business so far, but within this year I was invited to show a piece in London, sold three pieces to fellow artists and tile installers. It’s an honor when my peers want my work and I’m gaining attention from well-established artists and even had a small write-up in Tile Letter magazine. I’ll keep chipping away at it and see where year two goes.

From film to porcelain mosaic.

There's something special about having a reserved piece of my work displayed in my home until I personally deliver it in September. I see it when I first get home, I see it when I'm tired, I see it feeling low, I see it when I'm feeling joyful and hopeful, I see how far I've come, I see it as a stepping stone it’s fuel for the next piece. I’ve always said this about my day job harder the job better I look well I’m starting to see that applies to my art as well stay tuned in more will be revealed.
