The American Prohibition Museum in Savannah will feature live actors, state-of-the-art exhibits and historical memorabilia and artifacts. Our 5,500 square foot museum, located in City Market, will cover the time period from when Georgia went dry in 1907 until Prohibition's national repeal in 1933, ratification of the 21st Amendment and the roots of NASCAR.

A warm Happy Birthday to one of our many CASTmembers wearing all types of different hats--and they all look good on her! While millinery is one of the few things she doesn't do around here, Victoria delights our guests daily through giving exceptional guided tours or being a remarkable Manager on Duty, all while keeping our museum CASTmembers looking as sharp as possible as our in-house sewist. As a bonus, you can always (and we mean ALWAYS) catch her researching her family lineage during her lunch breaks. Victoria is the ultimate Jack of All Trades!

Thank you so much to our incredibly smart and motivated Victoria, and we wish her the best of times on this, the day of her glorious birth.

October has arrived, and so has our new speakeasy menu! 🍸🕸️

Our CASTmembers at Congress Street Up are shaking up four authentic Prohibition Era drink recipes for the month of October!

🧛 Blood and Sand: Named in honor of the 1922 silent film starring Rudolph Valentino (scotch, cherry brandy, sweet vermouth, orange juice)
😈 Blue Devil: The famous blue liqueur gets its flavor from the laraha citrus fruit, or the “Curaçao orange” (gin, maraschino liqueur, lemon juice, blue curaçao)
🥃 Brandy Gump: Brandy showcased by the same classic sour recipe you learn in our cocktail class! (brandy, lemon juice, grenadine)
🧟 Co**se Reviver No. 2: An annual favorite for spooky season here at Congress Street Up (gin, triple sec, Cocchi Americano, lemon juice, absinthe rinse)
