An evening experience walking through the rooms of the Gothic Revival masterpiece while narrators bring Savannah’s literary passages to life. Representative extracts from Georgia writers and poets will be presented through recitations, readings and dramatizations.

The house was made for music!

WHY THIS MATTERS: Savannah’s arts scene isn’t limited to big stages. Sometimes the setting becomes part of the experience.

Savannah VOICE Festival and the historic Green-Meldrim House are bringing back the VOICE Salon Series, with four intimate evenings of music stretching from October through April.

Each performance is built around the season, pairing live vocal music with everything from autumn and spring buffets to w**e and cheese, all inside one of Savannah’s historic spaces.

It’s a great example of two parts of Savannah’s identity coming together: the arts and our history, creating an experience that feels distinctly Savannah.

GMH had a wonderful kickoff to the fall with its Parlor Presentation by Dr. Carol Herringer of Georgia Southern University on Gothic Revival Anglo-Catholic Church Interiors of the Victorian Era.
The audience was engaged and enlightened.
