On this week's , we're taking a look at what Paris might look like after a zombie apocalypse... 🧟♂️

This piece is titled Jungle Opéra by .Art, part of her striking "Jungle" series. The collection explores what iconic world landmarks might look like if nature reclaimed them after humans disappeared. While Valerie originally envisioned natural disasters, conflicts, or nuclear events (originally drawing inspiration from the regrowth in Chernobyl), we figured this season was the perfect time to consider... other apocalyptic possibilities. 🌿🧟♀️

We framed it using the Héritage line. The rustic black and gold finish adds just the right touch of weathered elegance to complement such a bold statement piece!

Who says black cats are bad luck? Around here, we think they’re grrrrreat! 🐈⬛

For mid-October, we're sharing this mid-century s**g piece featuring a whole lineup of cool cats. We kept the traditional black, but swapped orange for purr-ple and pink. 🎨💜

If you ask us, crossing paths with a black cat - or framing a number for your wall - is nothing but good fortune.

OK, so it's Friday the 16th, not the 13th, but a man famous for that date stopped by with a project for us! It took a minute for us to understand that he wasn't trying to kill us, although it was still hard to read his expression under that mask. He didn't talk much either, just stood there breathing heavily the whole time.

This, uh... hunting enthusiast wanted us to frame a blade to coordinate with some other weaponry and trophies he's accumulated over the years near his lakefront campground. Fortunately, it appeared to be thoroughly cleaned before he brought it in. No splatter, no fuss! 🔪🩸

A simple Shoji shadowbox frame was the perfect height to clear the scabbard, and some careful, heavy-duty stitching from Jenni secured the elements. We suppose it's still accessible in case of an emergency, but we're really hoping he won't be coming back for a sequel.

Just like the movies, this whole thing was actually a family affair - his mother, Pamela, was actually the first in the family to use our shop many years ago. (Spoiler alert for a 45-year-old movie, we guess?) 👵

We've been holding onto this piece for a minute because it was a wedding gift, but now that the wedding is over and spooky season is in full swing, we can finally talk about the eerie coincidences behind it... 👻

This piece was drawn by the bride when she was just nine years old, long before most kids start seriously thinking about marriage. Yet, if you look closely, you can clearly see two figures holding hands under a tree with a heart floating above them.

The coincidences don't stop there:
🌳 They're standing under an oak tree (and the wedding happened to have a Savannah theme).
🚗 That vehicle in the upper right? It looks remarkably like the black SUV the groom drove when they first met in college.
🔮 There’s even a detail in the drawing that directly aligns with the groom’s last name.

She drew this in elementary school, didn't meet him until years later, and had completely forgotten the drawing even existed. So... was it just pure coincidence, or was something else at work?

Since it's now jack-o'-lantern season, and because we've been getting a lot of interest in these Prisma acrylic frames lately, we figured we'd smash two gourds with one video! 🎃

On this week's , we're taking a look at a unique piece featuring a signed album, paired with photos from the concert and the moment the artist signed it! 🎸

When the client mentioned they still wanted to take the record out to spin it, we immediately tuned in to the Prisma lineup. Thanks to their clever backing design, there’s no trick to removing and replacing the vinyl - so they can treat themselves whenever the mood strikes. 🎧

Using the visualizer on Bella's website, we narrowed the design down to this absolute ditty. The red and silver accents mirror the album cover perfectly, the clear acrylic background adds fantastic depth, and a little custom mat embossing takes the whole presentation to the next level. ✨

You guys have been loving our videos that feature people other than Adam - and honestly, we can't blame you! So instead of an , today we're bringing you an Art Show with Jenni! 🧵

One of the reasons Jenni is so incredibly talented with needlework, stitching, and fabrics comes down to one of her favorite hobbies. She participates in pre-17th century historical reenactments with the Society for Creative Anachronism (), which means she spends tons of time hand-crafting her own historical outfits. 🏰⚔️

Through her association with the , she met her friend Jamie, who lives up in the Macon area. Jamie is known for his skill with throwing weapons and archery, and he was recently honored for his prowess and dedication to the organization with several special awards and gifts. 🎯

Watch the video to see why Jamie made the trip all the way from Macon to have us handle his framing, and learn a little more about historical reenactment along the way!

Have you been to yet? This new Starland District eatery is tucked into a great space on DeSoto Avenue between 41st and 42nd. Brought to you by the creators of , they're slinging slices, pies, and other treats until the wee hours of the morning - and we can personally vouch for how good it is!

We were originally contacted by their design team about creating a first batch of framed images in a "Polaroid style." With a little help from our friend , we sized, printed, and used a black-core mat to nail the look. It might sound simple, but these are easily some of our favorite recent pieces—clean, striking, and full of immediate character. 📸

After that, a whole batch of movie posters dropped off at our shop with instructions to mix up frame colors and styles for dramatic effect (🥁). Finally, after installing those pieces and spotting a few open gaps, another handful of small pieces got the exact same treatment, going up on the wall just hours before their first night of service!

What made this project even more unique was coordinating across time zones via email with primary designer Jason Volenec. It all came together beautifully, and working in person with Jason, Colin, Daniel, and the entire Specials crew was as easy as pizza pie. 🍕
