ONE WEEK AWAY!

The 18th Annual Folk Pottery & Arts Festival is happening NEXT SATURDAY, September 5, from 10 AM–4 PM at the Sautee Nacoochee Center!

Spend the day celebrating the rich tradition of folk pottery and Appalachian arts with 60+ artists and vendors, live demonstrations, live music, food trucks, and plenty of one-of-a-kind handmade treasures to take home.

Admission and parking are FREE, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy across the entire SNC campus!

Make Your Own Face Jug-Inspired Wall Planter!

Looking to get even more out of your visit to the 18th Annual Folk Pottery & Arts Festival? Join us for a hands-on pottery workshop offered right here at the festival!

Create a one-of-a-kind ceramic wall planter inspired by the expressive tradition of Southern face jugs. In this fun, beginner-friendly class, you’ll hand-build your planter and sculpt a face-jug-inspired design onto the front. No pottery experience necessary-beginners are welcome!

The Folk Pottery & Arts Festival is just 2 WEEKS AWAY!

We are celebrating 20 years of the Folk Pottery Museum, and 18 years of the festival. It's going to be a great one.

Join us Saturday, September 5, from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM at the Sautee Nacoochee Center.

You can look forward to:
•60+ vendors including Folk Potters, Studio Potters, Woodworkers, Painters, Jewelry Artists, Glass Artists, and much more
•Pottery, Blacksmithing, and Folklife Living History demonstrations
•Four food trucks on site with scrumptious options for lunch or snacks
•Local musicians will gather for an all day, old-time music jam on the Outdoor Stage
•A Raffle of Artwork from our artists. Over 30 items
•Register NOW for the day-of pottery workshop in our studio
