🍂Creative Journaling, Each week will have a new theme and creative prompt to spark curiosity and experimentation. Through art and writing, we will create a journal to self-expression, inspiration, mark-making, and reflective writing.
🍂Studio in Art for Adults, We will cover basic drawing techniques, one and two-point perspective, portraits and still life, some water-media painting, keeping a sketchbook and some art history.
🍂Beginner Oil Painting, In this class, you'll learn the fundamentals of oil painting, including materials, color mixing, value, composition, and brushwork.
🍂Intermediate Pastels, We'll cover value, layering, and blending with pastels as you work from still life, portraits, or landscape photo references.
🍂Kitchen Lithography, We will draw our images using oil based crayons onto aluminum foil and etch our images with Coca Cola to create multiple prints. Beginners are welcome!
🍂Artist Statement Glow Up, In this two-afternoon workshop, we will find words to support your work and help you move it forward and into the world.
🍂Live Model Open Studio, These sessions are great practice for any artist interested in working from a live model without the formality of a class.
🍂Intro to Plein Air Painting, Working with watercolor, colored pencil, markers, and acrylic paint, students will learn to capture light, atmosphere, color, and landscape through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individualized instruction.
🍂Finding your Digital Style with ProCreate, Students will start off by getting comfortable with the app, learning the tools, brushes, layers, and all the basics needed to start creating.
🍂The Power of a Limited Palette: Acrylic Markers, We will go over basic color theory, what colors to choose, and how they work well together. We will practice limited our palette to 3-5 colors creating cohesion and harmony in our artwork.
