"Something Borrowed, Something New" and "Maria A. Guzmán Capron: Penumbra" both close September 27, and once they're gone, they're gone.

"Something Borrowed, Something New" is a once-in-a-lifetime lineup: nearly 85 works by artists like Ai Weiwei, David Hockney, Louise Bourgeois, Kara Walker, and Yoko Ono, on loan from private collections across Southwest Florida. These are pieces most of us would never get to see otherwise, pulled off living room walls and into open conversation with one another for the very first time. When this show closes, they go back home.

"Maria A. Guzmán Capron: Penumbra" brings her vivid, hand-stitched figures into the light—textile works that dig into identity, memory, and the spaces we hold between languages and selves.

Two very different shows. One deadline. See them both before September 27.

Join Lacie Barbour, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, as she introduces our latest exhibition, "Beautiful Ideas: The Prints of Sol LeWitt," on view now through October 25.

Best known for his groundbreaking wall drawings and modular structures, Sol LeWitt was a founding force behind minimalism and conceptual art. But across his 40-year career, he also produced more than 350 print projects, thousands of lithographs, silkscreens, etchings, aquatints, woodcuts, and linocuts that reveal a different side of his boundless creativity.
